Nicky's Attempt, Chapter 6
It was wintertime. Not the happy holiday part of winter and not the heart of the biting frost either. Ollie had been born just when the frost peeled back enough to give the hint that nature should be waking up. That day came this year like all those before it and yet completely different. This time he brought the flowers Rod had gotten. This time he was not alone.
Rod and Nicky walked in silence to the Rolling Hills graveyard. Rod, being new at dealing with the dead, decided to just follow Nicky's lead. He hadn't said anything since they left, seeming to be deep in thought. Rod was carrying the bouquet, the red carnations he had gotte

Nicky's Attempt, Chapter 5
The next morning, Nicky grumbled and rolled out of bed. He had the entire day with Rod, but that didn't mean that he enjoyed getting up any more than usual. He pulled on some fresh-er clothes and went into the other room. Rod was already up and making breakfast. As the tantalizing smell introduced itself to his nostrils, his eyes widened in amazement. "Are those WAFFLES?!" Nicky exclaimed, now much more awake at the prospect of having Rod's legendary breakfast. Nicky liked them since they were amazing beyond belief and Rod favored them over other cooked breakfasts because they were a lot easier to clean up, it was a good compromise bet

Rod looked around, wondering where the sudden warmth and sound had gone. He had felt something blissful just a moment before, and wanted it back. Badly. He began, more like forced, himself up towards the surface, seeing none in sight, but going towards where he thought the warmth had retreated to. Rod called out his name, but to no avail, as the waters were too deep and ate his voice away into silence.

I walk through life with my eyes open. I see things other do not. I see what they dream of, and what they fear. How do they not see all the wonder I do? Their ignorance astounds me, day after day, of the things that are literally staring back at them that they refuse to believe. I wondered deeply on this topic for the longest time, almost abandoning the concept for one of those unanswerable questions.
I finally found my answer. It just came to me one day, out of the clear blue sky.

Zim was walking in the city today. Not something he normally did, but he normally wasn't out on a 'Sunday,' as these hyumans called it, either. He was walking through the park when he saw one of the two things on earth that could put him on edge: a rain cloud. Not one of the skimpy ones either, this one was big and black and was looking for a fight. Zim 'Eep'ed, and started running for the safety of his base. It had already started to rain when he spied a certain Dib-hyuman's house. Thinking only of his hissing skin, he ran up the walkway and banged on the door.
A very annoyed Gaz answered. "Yeah, what do you want?" "LET ME IN!" Z

Nicky's Attempt, Chapter Four
When Rod got into bed, Nicky was already fast asleep. He sighed longingly at the resting form across the two feet that separated the beds. Pale moonlight streamed across the room, giving his innocent face the look of an angel. Rod stared for what may have been hours at the glorious form, somehow ignoring the perverse sounds coming from the apartments, Gary playing cards with the Bad Idea Bears, and him telling whoever that "No, I will not tell the couples to be quiet while having sex."
Or something along those lines.
Anyways, Nicky was asleep, but the sounds seemed to affect his subconscious more than Rod's.

The Around-The-Clock café was crowded for so early on a Friday night, Rod and Nicky were lucky to get a table. The bad idea bears had offered the pair some Long Island Iced Tea, much to Nicky's amusement, but Rod politely refused for them both, seeing as he didn't drink much and didn't want his self-control jeopardized, and, really, who knows what those two may have done to the drinks. So Rod got a club soda with a shot of rum and Nicky got a beer. They ordered some sandwiches off the menu and were left alone at their table. Wings of a Worthless God Chapter Four
John managed to drag Karkat back up the hill and into the small cave they turned into a makeshift shelter. He deposited his Matesprit on the small pile of blankets they had and looked over him worriedly. "Thank god," He exhaled the breath he had been holding when he saw Karkat's chest moving slowly up and down. The fire was dimming, barely crackling. John took off his jacket and shirt and threw them over Karkat. He knew it wasn't a lot, but it was better than nothing. Hurriedly he built back up the fire and left to search for rocks. There was a survival show he saw once that recommended heating rocks up and burying them in the sand to keep th

Still the Same Chapter Seven Unedited
When John woke the next morning he was still surrounded by quietly sleeping trolls. He went to move but found himself trapped in Karkat's embrace. He didn't mind, for the first time in almost a month he didn't wake up alone. It felt nice to be surrounded by others he could relate to a little bit. His senses were off, compared to the others, the closeness was getting uncomfortable but he would rather be uncomfortable then alone. The troll next to him shifted and pulled John with him. He couldn't help giggling when Karkat couldn't pull him over with him like a huge stuffed animal.
Karkat opened his eyes blinking a few times, "Oh, hey Egbert."

Karkat moved away from the door and allowed the three humans inside. "Your master?" The blond girl asked cautiously stepping inside.
"Yes, John Egbert," he fell back and called to you, "John are these your friends?"
You had just finished putting on your clothes when you entered the room and saw them, your friends, people you have waited years to see again. "Rose? Dave? Jade?" You could tell your eyes must have lit up and a smile spread across your face, "Oh my gosh!" You ran forward and hugged them all tightly, "It's been so long! I'm so glad you're here!" You released them and smiled wide. "I've missed you all so much!"

It had been about ten hours.
Ten hours and Zim hadn't moved from his seat in front of the computer console.
Anger had come and gone; at first he wanted to rant and rave, yell at the ceiling, run after Dib and rip him to pieces. But after the first few hours passed, anger turned to boredom and boredom turned to restlessness and restlessness turned to an almost loneliness.
Loneliness?
"Zim needs no one!" Zim scoffed, his voice vibrating off the walls. He reclined back in his chair, arms crossed over his chest as his large red eyes roamed the darkness of the wires tangled throughout the ceiling.
Where was the Dib-be

Worth the Kill? Chapter Three
Karkat woke up first, there was a soft light filtering in through the blinds. He yawned and stretched, noticing John was still holding him tight. The troll smiled and pressed his head against the boy. 'Is this what having Matesprit feels like? This sense of safety?' He was really surprised that he felt so safe around John. There was something about the human boy that made him forget his fears, and feel relaxed. Something that he'd never experienced in his life. Karkat grabbed John careful to not wake him up and held on like he was going to disappear. 'He still could, everything I have disappears.' He clutched this person who he onl

You are now Sollux, and you want to fuck the shit out of everyone and everything. It's that bad. It's been a month, a fucking month, since the last time you had sex. That's like, Forever.
You stare at the ceiling, trying to let your mind wander. You find yourself looking at a crack in the ceiling. You realize that it looks like dick. Dicks. Do you like dicks? Nah. Maybe a little. The tiniest bit.
Okay so you like dicks, you like dicks a lot.
You close your eyes, and are greeted with a mental image of your crush. Naked. On your bed. Yeeeee.

You are currently sitting in the day room with Equius, and a few others. Equius is looking at you with half pity, half concern.
"Nepeta, you must talk to..him..."

You cross your arms and slide deeper into your chair. You need a way out of this, you do not want to talk to Karkat, he is pissing you off!

Ok. So, im not dead. yet.
so, anyways, my last computer got devistated by this virus and i was so paranoid about getting it on my new one that i fled and hid from this site. im sorry, im back on now, and.. might do some stuff. *looks around nervously*
I'm trying to rewrite Nicky's Attempt so that I can give you guys the next chapter and I really don't like leaving it alone for so long. I keep thinking on it and while my ideas are the same, I'm having trouble getting it anywhere near as good it was before. What I'm probably going to do is post it in bits. Right now, I just need input on what I should do: Wait for my files back so that it can be good the first time and write other stuff in the mean time, post bits of the next chapter and then give it a major reedit when i get my files back, do what i can and then go work on something else (I have the idea already), other(tell me what!).

Hey! I LIVE! But... Let's get to it.
Good news: My computer was fixed. Bad News: the virus reserfeced after two days. Worse: The guys that fixed it aren't responding to email so that they can re-fix it, and I, being the genius that I am, neglected to back up my files, and when I tried, it was already too late. Files included most of the rest of Nicky's Attempt through the end and several ideas that were only digitized(I keep notes in many places.)
Good News: I remember alot of what I wrote and still have access to my spring board. Bad news: I would need to use thins desktop fossil. Worse: The programs are different than what I'm used to and
